This website incorporates the Illinois Mandatory Minimum DUI Risk Classification methodology, which classifies Illinois DUI offenders' risk according to Illinois DUI state statutes (laws).
The Illinois Driver Risk Inventory-2 (DRI-2) is a brief, self-administered, evidence based DUI offender assessment instrument or test. It consists of 113 questions and takes on average 15 to 20 minutes to complete. Illinois DRI-2's are computer scored with printed 3-page reports available within 2 1/2 minutes of data (answers) entry.
1. Illinois Mandatory Minimum DUI Risk Classification - Classifies Illinois DUI offender risk, according to Illinois State statutes (laws).
2. Truthfulness Scale - Detects DUI offender denial and problem minimization. Truthfulness Scales are a must for any self-report test.
3. Alcohol Scale - Measures alcohol use and the severity of abuse. Alcohol refers to beer, wine and liquor. Drinking is legal for most 18 year olds (and older).
4. Drug Scale - Measures prescription and non-prescription drug use and abuse. Many states are decriminalizing marijuana use.
5. Substance Use Disorder - Utilizes DSM-5 criteria to classify substance use and abuse. The Diagnostic and Statistical Mental Disorders (DSM-5), uses eleven symptoms to identify substance use disorders.
6. Driver Risk Scale - Measures driver risk independently from substance (alcohol/drug) use or abuse.
7. Stress Management Scale - Measures an individual's ability to manage or cope with their experienced stress.
The Illinois DRI-2 is the only major DUI offender test that incorporates a Truthfulness Scale and Illinois' Mandatory Minimum DUI Risk Classification Scale along with its other Alcohol, Drug, and Driver Risk Scales.
