New clients that want to use the Illinois DRI-2 (individuals, groups or departments) can simply call 1 (800) 231-2401 to register. Our offices are open 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mountain Standard Time. To use any of our other tests, follow the instructions on the above link "How to Open An Account." Our standard test unit fee (for all tests other than the Illinois DRI-2) is $9.95 per test. Once established test prices are not increased for active accounts. This policy protects loyal BDS test users from inflation.
By acting now you can lock in the low $6.00 test unit fee for the Illinois DRI-2 and $9.95 for other BDS tests.
Some testing companies employ á la carte billing which can be misleading. In these instances a test's cost is kept deceptively low. Then, when test materials, research, test updates, accountability and support services are added, the test is much more expensive than originally quoted. Another stratagem for keeping a test’s cost low (e.g., very inexpensive or free testing) is not to provide many (if any) test-related services (e.g., lack of accountability, nobody supporting the test if challenged, no ongoing research, etc.). In other words, no support services are provided. In contrast, BDS only employs one low all-inclusive fee.
The Illinois DRI-2 price is $6.00 per test. By acting now you can lock in the low $6.00 test unit fee.
There are some important advantages associated with adopting one Illinois DUI offender test. For example, all Illinois DUI offenders would take the same test. DUI research would no longer involve “sampling” the DUI offender population as Illinois DUI offender research would be statewide and future updates or modifications would be easier to accommodate. Communication, coordination, and accountability would be enhanced with one DUI test.
The test unit fee for all BDS tests is $9.95 per test. The Illinois DRI-2 test unit fee is an exception at $6.00 per test. By acting now you can lock in this low $9.95 rate for the entire term of your BDS test usage. Even when BDS’s test unit fees go up with inflation, your $9.95 fee is locked in.
Treatment effectiveness (or outcome tests) tests involve two test administrations of the same test, i.e., a pretest and posttest. Treatment effectiveness or outcome tests cost $7.95 per test. In other words, the pretest costs $7.95, and the posttest cost $7.95 per test.
